The congregation is governed by an elected board called the Session.  Members of the congregation are elected, ordained, and installed to the office of Ruling Elder and serve three-year terms.  The Pastor is the Moderator of the Session.  The Session meets monthly for routine business, and more often if a special issue needs action.

Other members of the congregation are elected, ordained, and installed as Deacons.  The Board of Deacons undertakes the main benevolent activities of the congregation.
